It was mentioned on the shoutbox and by The Source in the newsletter. The standard at MyDL has improved. More and more often the posts are of a higher quality. 

The new-look site has also improved the look and feel of the site. It just seems that much more professional. A good job indeed. 

I do have other blogs. These are becoming more and more neglected. Sure, I add posts from time to time and earn a few cents from Google, but there is something lacking on these that is so much a central part of MyDL. 

As The Source so rightly mentions, it is the community that has been built on this site that provides the unique draw-card. Some of the posts result in long discussions. Feedback, rather than the number of hits, is a great motivator. It seems to be a community that cares about each other. 

The community of MyDL includes many writers. There are some that I follow closely and read every post. I read others when a topic takes my interest. I follow their thoughts and experiences and eagerly await the next episode.
