According to the quoted article M$ is aiming to probably/possibly have the next big thing in operating systems out in 2012. Before, during or after 21 Desember, I wonder.

Are they planning on raking in the bucks before the planet goes Bang!? How about this for a Ad campaign. "Buy and Install M$ Windoze 8 and avoid the Apocalypse" or maybe "If the world's environmentalists had Windoze 8 they could have patched the climate and avoided all this lousy weather"?

Then again, I'm sure they are not going to set a date for availability for AFTER the Apocalypse, unless they're very optemistic that something will still need a bloated operating system to deal with life on a devetsated planet?

Of course, there's always the other thought: Since M$ started bringing out operating systems the weather's slowly started to get worse... Maybe Mother Nature and/or planet earth installed the M$ Planet-O/S 1.0 and some alien hacked it and uploaded a "screw-the-climate" worm?
