I did not think it would be long before Ras Dumisani made it in some or other spoof or advert following on from his memorable performance last Friday. I really want to know the name of his giggle twig supplier. Already the spoof Windhoek lager advert has got Windhoek lager in a tizz "keep it real Ras Keep it Real"

I had expected by now that Nandos would have had a version out but maybe their creative department has some other tricks up their sleeves.

Not wanting to be left off this wave of hype around the latest rendition of the national anthem I have decided to place an advert offering my services. I will put it on Bizcommunity.com and Gumtree.co.za (Johannesburg) and see what response I get.

the ad reads:

"Scared of looking like Ras singing the National Anthem? Frightened you won't be asked to perform again? Then let me help you with your marketing plan. I will ensure that your plan meets the approval of the board for its insight and professional preparation and research. You won't need to smoke anything illegal and certainly not your socks if I help you get it right. Contact me for more information"

I will let you know if I get any takers. Of course if you know of anyone needing a marketing plan developed preferably of an industrial marketing rather than an FMCG one just let me know
