I have jumped green gates with similar spikes and got away with a few nicks to the hand when there was barbed-wire involved and a few rips to my jeans when they were to baggy to fit through.

Later, I witnessed a basketball player attempt to follow me over a similar gate and he got one Nike ripped wide open, luckily his foot was unscathed.

Soon after, a school-boy tried jumping over the same gate. The tail of his school blazer got caught in those devilish spikes. He fell forward and hung upside-down until a ripping sound initiated his crash-landing.

Gates and fences with spikes are the best! The story and pictures say alot!

The suspected thief jumped from a tree onto the spike, instead of climbing over them.

Do not steal and do not attempt shortcuts like fence-hopping, in life!
