SocialPoster provides us with a form for the bookmarking elements like URL, TITLE, DESCRIPTION & TAGS. After filling those in, you can shoot the post off to the selected sites in one go! 79 Active Sites are listed :) Buttons for webmasters are also available at the top right-hand link of the main page. For the Javascript Bookmarklet for users to do post submissions from the page itself, drag this here to a folder you use for quick submissions. ![]() At first, this site looks almost like the SocialPoster site. SocialMarker provides a button for blog owners to use in their posts and site. ![]() The SocialMarker button has support for 47 of the best sites. Select the sites you think people would love to interact with your posts on by choose a type of site eg. 'News' , then create a button. Add the code to your site and you're done! Let us check out 4 more that you might like. AddThis requires you to register to get their button scripts. You can choose to select one from the hover-menu or you could click on the button to submit to 34 sites. Buttons come in 3 different sizes which include and exclude, text and social icons.
![]() This widget is called the Ultimate Social Bookmark and I thought it was better than most at the time. This Widgetbox widget features a drop-down box (image on right), to select the service(s) you wish to bookmark to. The above-mentioned services: AddToAny, AddThis, SocialMarker & SocialPoster are on top of their list! 0_o Conveniently redundant enough! Or is that redundantly convenient?
Widgetbox has tons of widgets available so check their site out if you have time to peruse the list. Now this is my favorite!
You can get the free version with just the sharing capability. It would help to register if you want to track domains your own and sub-domains you use elsewhere like Blogger, Wordpress, Joomla, etc. This seems to be the tiniest and sleekest of them all.
It features a rotation script of the icons from the social networks you selected to appear. ShareThis is my preference because it opens a neatly sized pop-up instead of a hovering menu that covers the text below (or above) the neighboring content. I can thus remain on the page that I am currently viewing/bookmarking.
ShareThis also provides us with a Firefox 3 add-on so that we can enjoy using it even when other sites don't offer it. NB: You must be logged in to any of the services to submit a post. Drop me a "Hi!" and we can get things rolling. Let me know about your latest, greatest post so that I can share it too! :) If you enjoyed my post on the 'Top 5 All-In-1 Social Bookmarking Buttons', please share it with everyone and subscribe to my feed below for more super blogging tips.
