How come in most societies if a person has more than one sexual partner or is married to more than one person they are considered bigamist or ‘loose’. Yet every catholic priest, every nun and every monk on earth claims to be married to God. Does that not make God a bigamist? Every Catholic, Anglican and Methodist has the same creed “I believe in one God, creator of heaven and earth..” They are stating there is only one God. So if there is one God how can he be married to all the catholic priests, nuns and monks? Surely it would be better if the Vatican just woke up to the fact that priests, nuns and monks are human. All humans have basic needs and urges and one of them is to have sex. Sex is more than just an urge. It is an instinct that creates a powerful feeling of contentment in most humans. Even animals will try and hump another species if there is none of there own around.
By denying sex to priests, the church is creating its own problems. All they need to do is look at all the child molestation cases that involve priests. Pedophiles get to hide behind the cloak of the church. By becoming priests they get to be close to children without seeming to be doing anything wrong. When they are not turned on by a beautiful woman it is not seen as strange as he is a priest and priests are not supposed to have sexual urges. When he prefers being around young boys and girls it is said he is looking to enrich young minds. Is he not committing a bigger sin being man having sex with children rather than having sex with a marriage partner? Is it not part of the human nature to have a need for intimate loving? Is it not that if you are married to someone you expect affection in return for you giving yourself to that person for life? Catholics deny their priests this. Surely the reason the church has so many pedophiles is because it is telling its men you are not loved, your life partner does not really care for you as he has about., oh, another million life partners to keep happy too… and while we are touching this point will He say: "Direct your complaints to someone else tonight. I have a headache from all the people wanting my attention right now. "
What if there is no such thing as marriage nor such thing as polygamy. Perhaps we are still in an animal state of mind and sex is a mere primal instinct. If so, why does religion say that it is a sin to have sex with more than one partner? Do you really believe God is going to send you to hell for doing something that is an inbuilt instinct - a primal urge that he created? Is it not more hellish living without the love of a partner? Without the knowledge that there is someone that loves you here and now. Than living with the fear of wondering that while your body rots here on terra firma that your soul may or may not go to hell for having sex.
If God is such a blatant bigamist (being married to so many clergymen and all) why can’t we be? Surely there is enough place in the human heart to love more than one person. Surely a person has the right to change the way they feel about another person? Were we not given free will to be able to decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong?
So if it means that I am wrong having loved one mna, having had two kids with him before deciding that I hate his guts and now love another man… well then I would willingly go to hell for bigamy. And if it is a sin to have sex before marriage well I am going straight to hell.
My reasoning is: If God is a Bigamist then I am a saint and if he is just God - then I must belong to the devil…

God is spirit, the fact that you equate being married to having sex means you miss two vitally important aspects of marriage, the spiritual and emotional aspects. Anyway, being "married" to God is a symbol coming from the Bible where Jesus comes back for his bride, the church. A SYMBOL, which would have made sense to you if you didn't emediately think sex.
Anyway, the problem with the priests and phedophilia is not so much a lack of sex, there are many people who go through life withot sex, thnk of sick and lame people, or people who just don't find someone. I know quite a few batchellors aged above 50 who are virgins and don't go around mollesting kids. THE reason for the catholic fall is that they do not follow the bible, they do not focus on having a relationship with Jesus, and therefore the devil knows how to tempt them. The uncontrollable lust is a result of their broken religion being attacked by a power that hates the church.
So God is not a bigamis, this is a silly argument based on misunderstanding and a sick society.
That being said, there is no sin too big for Jesus to wash away, He wants to know you.
Most of the rules about sex coming from the bible is there to protect us, after all, God invented and created sex, but he knew how we should have it to be happy. Also He knew to put some rules so that society can work well.
I am not beding the rules here, but I believe that God is outspoken against promisquity more that just having premarital sex, it is about the heart. Sin is sin, and it has to be forgiven, bu the results of sin vary greatly, if a couple in love has sex, get ingaged and maried and live happily ever after, they shoudl actually repent ant thank God for what they have. But if someone has sex with 20 people before getting married, I can promise you it will have an effect on how devoted and close that relationship can be on all the levels, not just physical.
This is my opinion, hope you get something out of it, but no sin is too big or too bad, and even if you want to think so, God is not a hypocrite, but he is definately also not to be messed with, so rather get to know him, get in line with what He knows is best. If you have faith in this and ask Him to helpyou, you will look back in a few years, not believing how happy you feel....

What you're saying about the spiritual marriage with God is that it is fine. However to have an emotional or spiritual relationship with another person is a sin. I truely believe that if you want to have 50 sexual partners have them, but protect yourself
