The following comment will sound terribly arrogant, but it reflects my true thoughts. I have always enjoyed being a top artist in this country according to Myspace. In every category, including overall categories, I have been a top dog. But now, South Africa does not feature in Myspace new global phenomenon. My false sense of achievement is gone, and I feel like a third world artist. Do they think we sign music contracts on bits of stone?
Most websites and social networks seem to be updating, upgrading and Facebooking their sites. But for crying in a bucket, whatever happened to "Don't fix what is not broken". There are different strokes for different folks, and not everyone wants the chaos of Facebook in their life. I choose to use Myspace as my artist platform, as people don't get lost when they listen to my music, but can stare at the grand piano strings as they listen to "Celtic Fever".
I hope that Myspace changes their set up soon, back to the brilliant set up they had before, before Mark Facebook King CEO Zuckerberg decides to sue Tom Myspace Current Online Moron CEO Anderson.
I still love my percentage of Japanese fans though! Who knew?
